John 14:5-7,12-14.
6 Jesus said, I am the way, the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father except through me. 7 If they knew me, they would know my Father also; and from now on they know him and have seen him. 12 Truly I tell you, whoever believes in me will do the works that I do, and greater works than these, because I go to the Father. 13 Whatever you ask the Father in my name, I will do it, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. 14 If you ask anything in my name, I will do it.
In this biblical quote is found what for many is and will always be a great mystery, because whoever reads it and tries to interpret it with a realistic and limited perspective, easily concludes that this call to do greater works than those of a being of flesh and blood who walked the earth is almost impossible for most people. Furthermore, how can one ask the Father in his name, or what can one ask for, whether much or little, such as unlimited love, abundance and well-being? It seems to contradict many creeds that suggest to their followers that in scarcity there is virtue, therefore it would seem that everything is final, and it is better to resign oneself. Many believe that bringing to that supposed god an unpleasant state as an offering has something to do with what they call holy virtue, and that asking the Father for something must be done through numerous offerings and repetitive prayers even when those in innumerous cases seem to have no answer, but that surely will be an ally after death for a supposed reward in what they call heaven.
"... whatever you ask the Father in my name, I will do it ...”. What happens if we ask for something that, according to many creeds, makes us feel impure or act against their norms? It seems that in this tangle of human explanations and precepts, man himself has made it so complicated that this vicious and deceptive circle to which he subjects himself and millions is still the relief for multitudes, although no one needs relief, what is required is the cure. In my childhood, my mind bounced confused among many questions that had no answers, questions exposed to the light or understanding of one of the most popular creeds, because the answers of these religious leaders and those who believed in them were, as I repeat, only a relief, a relief that lasts only a short time since the doubts return without any cure. Until I found the guides, the tools and what better than experience, although very little to this day, to prove to myself that these great men of antiquity were dramatizing the innumerable states of consciousness that are torn between two worlds, the limited world of the carnal mind and the unlimited world, from where everything is created, of the divine mind or mind of God, both present in each one of us. You and God are one, there is no such separation. There are two planes or dimensions, the earthly and the divine, but the power of creation is one and you are the bearer of that power, within you. Once again, the prophet illustrates a universal law through a very revealing dialogue: the consciousness of what we believe ourselves to be is the only one that can create and modify all that we are and experience in this physical or objective reality. This consciousness of being, together with its power or energy to imagine and assume both existing and non-existing states, can easily reach pleasant or unpleasant states without the need of what we call reality.
In the following, I will try to reveal this great truth in the best possible way explained.
Let's see, absolutely everything we experience in this objective world has a single source or cause of being: your consciousness of what you believe yourself to be. There you have assumed what is possible or impossible for you, and you have conceived countless ideas with feelings that have been the drivers or seeds of all that your five senses call reality. Thus, you co-create situation after situation, weaving countless experiences throughout your life that, once manifested, connect with other similar ones and gradually shape, step by step, everything you have lived until today. Today you are and you have; as well as, naturally, what you are not and do not have. Regardless of whether what you are and have, or what you are not and do not have, is good, bad or indifferent. All that matters little or nothing; what is relevant is that you, consciously or unconsciously, have conceived it within your consciousness. If today you think that there is a being outside of you who knows what is good and what is bad, what is convenient or not, then you must know once and for all that it is not so, eliminate that idea from your mind. The Creative Power does not play on chance or luck, nor is it superstitious, nor does it base creation on chance or coincidence, much less is it selective; if it were really so, this world would be in chaos, a complete disaster. You can analyze for a moment details of some experience. If we review the movie of our life in reverse, we will surely find at the beginning a conversation, a fear, a worry, an excuse or pretext, a good or bad news, a sincere desire of the heart, a belief in something, a warning or suggestion from our mind or from someone else, something that can limit the attitude and with it the acting or decision making. That seed is surely in the deepest part of our consciousness. It is germinating and holding as true that which predominates in everything we pick up, whether it is desirable or not. Let us call this seed planted in the depths of consciousness an assumption; a conception is a belief with feeling, a deeply felt belief. It can be a belief in something positive with its relative feeling, or the opposite, a belief in something undesirable fueled by the feeling of fear. We are often admonished to “fear not”. For thousands of years, these sages understood that in a way fear is a very powerful feeling of creativity, although being of a negative frequency, because it works against evolution, it can with the same force create a displeasure or destroy something positive already existing, creating its negative opposite. It works against evolution, since this feeling paralyzes, stops and makes the one who experiences it go backwards, preventing him from moving towards the desire for expansion, and therefore, slows down growth. The fear of loss, of illness, of an accident, of failure, of a mistake, of a rupture, in short of everything that we can conceive with an image and the feeling of fall or fear. It destroys the positive or evolutionary that elevates to a higher level of creation and conscience, which can also elevate understanding or comprehension. Therefore, that is precisely what fear is, a falling away of the self from what it truly is.
In the same way, the feeling of love can create from nothingness all that is truly desirable in the heart of each individual; from love it can transform the harsh or violent into pleasure and harmony, it can co-create a life experience full of joy, abundance and peace in every area of this existence and even beyond this limited reality. This feeling of love, little understood by most, is best identified by a single word or definition, which is: surrender. It is evident, if we analyze carefully, that love has been devalued to very low levels, since for the empty man love has an end already marked, or in other words, a condition already established, as long as they love and respect me, I love and respect; so empty and costly is that feeling for realists. But for the sages of antiquity it was well known, after their intense search and analysis, that love is surrender, a surrender from within to all that is infinitely possible for the power that resides within each of us, God. A surrender that marks the irreversible beginning towards something new and joyful against what afflicts or disturbs us. Thanks to the surrender, God sent his only son to give us salvation; he was delivered to this world, we are taught, he gave himself for us to be punished and crucified by those who did not believe in him, and all this is described as the greatest act of love that God had and has for mankind. No other act has been known or revealed by God as the greatest example of his love for man than to have given him his only begotten son, who now makes to us, by prophetic illustration, a great revelation: “No man cometh unto the Father but by me”.
We know well that God or Father refers to the creator, the creator of everything visible and invisible. There is only one creative power, responsible for all that we see and do not see. The mediator of this power or energy is unique, and both are present in us, unifying one power and being one entity, the Father and the Son, John 14:28, ...-for I go to the Father, for the Father is greater than I”. Everything created went through a process of creation or manifestation, whatever you prefer to call it; there was a seed or cause for the fruit that is now visible, so it is with everything you can observe or experience in this objective reality. You, as the bearer of divine power and its mediator, are called upon not only to enjoy the banquet prepared for you, but you also have the freedom of choice. This freedom, so valuable but often ignored by many, is the key or building block to the complete and perfect creation of all that we desire. On the contrary, if left in the hands of others, the consequences can be severe; attachments and limitations are installed in those who do not know how to freely use the power to decide what they must let go of and what they must accept as truth. Whether in what you consider good or bad, you have the power and freedom to consciously choose what you desire and own the feeling of that desire, regardless of the process by which that desire passes from the invisible plane to the visible plane. If you have not yet been able to consciously realize this process, surely if you pay attention and practice meditation or prayer, Matthew 6:6, focused on a deep desire of your heart, you will see that this is so. Therefore, beyond this real or objective dimension, there is a dimension beyond the reach of your five senses, in which the states or experiences that are perceived through your senses are co-created. The power that from above creates and governs everything below is present in your consciousness, in a space outside of the time you already know, beyond past, present or future, it is all that exists as a single entity, it is pure energy. It is not possible to escape or separate from it, you cannot move away or come closer, you cannot be more or less, you cannot be absent and then return, you simply cannot. We are one with him and he is one with all; the differences that you can barely perceive are in the use that each one makes of that power; however, in its essence, in that power, there is no difference whatsoever, we will all return home as one big family and everything will be as it was before everything that exists, that is how it is and that is how it will be. It may be confusing at first, but it does not matter, for it is the greatest of laws and we all exist by it and for it, and without it nothing that exists could have been.
Now, you have been given the mediator, you are the world in search of one salvation, or many. You receive the only one who can save you and who, therefore, becomes the only way to access, reach or return to the Father. For the Father, being the creator, and you, needing to co-create or modify something existing, must turn to that all-creating power to rectify the reality you desire. He has sent your savior, the only one who can repair your failures once and for all and give you what you desire; the gospels are full of miracles, healings and wishes granted to all those who, on their way, decide to accept him as the only truth and life. You are the one of all those stories clamoring for something or for much that you wish to have or to change; every day you are present in front of him, sometimes you contemplate him and most of the time you turn your back on him, you exchange him for the world of Caesar, you prefer to entertain yourself with more of the same, you prefer to listen to your failures, your regrets, your fears, your sorrows, your afflictions, your worries, your experiences of years ago but that you continue to feed day by day even though it has been a long time, you prefer the bad news, the discussions, the need to be right, to know how this or that should be given; all that you prefer throughout the day, you don't have a minute left to contemplate who is definitely your only savior. We are very busy trying to solve with force and logic everything that wears us out and that in the end does little or nothing to nourish us spiritually. We go to assemblies to bring offerings, to make vain petitions, to follow a creed that in the same way in little or nothing nourishes us spiritually, and yet we consider ourselves believers of the Christian faith, although thousands and thousands of these petitions remain unanswered, thousands and thousands of minds remain untransformed, we believe that this is to have faith. Here we have the only power that tells us that if we really believe in him, the works he has done will be few and that you and I can do much more than what he did, so where are we failing, is it an empty promise, is the call for a minority that we do not know but that deludes us all the same? No, it is not. That call is for everyone equally, regardless of race, creed, status, social power, descent, or any other qualifier that the world has in its midst. The great inventors, writers, illustrious geniuses in the history of mankind have been witnesses in the flesh of these prophetic words.
Let us consider the passage from another perspective and ask ourselves: what means could I employ to take the first step towards an idea or desire, how could I form or shape that desire in my mind, or by what route did that desire come to me? Tell me if not through the power of imagination, can I imagine something I don't yet have or want to change? Definitely yes! If you can't imagine a desire, you can't move from where you are sitting either. First you have the energy to generate a desire; in stillness you create a desire. Let's take a simple example: you are sitting on the couch and suddenly you want to drink water. As a first step, you brought to your mind the desire to drink water, and you immediately think of getting up and going to where the water is, right? However, you are still sitting; if that desire really arises in you, surely an image also arose that is associated with the actions necessary to satisfy your desire, from activating your muscles, getting up, going to the kitchen through the corridors of your house, taking a glass, filling it with water and quenching your thirst. This process requires a desire, the act planned in your mind and the certainty of having achieved it; it happens in fractions of seconds, and you conceive such an act without any resistance. No one appears with a glass of water in their hand remembering that the last thing they consciously did was to change the channels on the television, for example. Similar to the example above, your mind travels at incredible speeds through hundreds of experiences, some happening as you think they should and some not so real so far, over the course of a single day. Which of these experiences are identified with fear and which with love? You might be surprised to learn the answer. Now, which of these experiences are repetitive and felt to the point that you end up acting and assuming you are into them as something that has already happened? You might think that the desire for an action as simple as moving to get a glass of water is something very simple, that little or nothing compares to a desire as great as taking the trip of your dreams, no matter how expensive it may be. Let me tell you that in both cases the process is just as simple. You only need your subjective assumption, or more clearly, that you own the certainty of being in the realization of the desire and not simply thinking about it. You could imagine that you move from your room to the kitchen and take a glass of water; I am sure you do, and you do it without hesitation, you could even feel the cold glass in your hands and how you drink the water. Can you then elevate your imagination and feeling to something greater, like being in a place where you would like to be, or shaking hands with someone you would like to greet? Raise your being to the level of necessary assumption and you can experience what true Faith is. Then you return to this moment, but with the conception of a gift from God. For that, God gives you the power to imagine. Thus, the energy that creates and is everything moves beyond time and space to materialize that movement, which eventually manifests as a state or experience in what we call the future, whether it is a second after the present or several years.
Whatever the time, in that dimension of consciousness, everything exists as a single present and a single truth. And what is that everything? Again, I repeat, everything is that which you accept as truth, as possible or true for and about your being. If you believe that reality determines what you can be or have, then so be it, not because reality determines it, but because it is your truth held in consciousness. If, on the other hand, your assumptions are determined by your true desires, even if they contradict your current reality, then you are moving out of time and space to co-create a new reality. In both cases, it does not matter what has happened so far, but what you accept as truth, do you understand? That is why you were told: Luke 9:62, 62 And Jesus said to him, “No one who puts his hand to the plow and looks back is fit for the kingdom of God.
The kingdom of God is your consciousness in complete harmony, in perfect tune with everything that elevates and expands us towards a positive evolution towards growth and understanding of the Divine Law. It is the state in which a request or desire becomes an actual reality, replacing everything opposite; this is putting your hand to the plow and breaking up the soil to create a new field, a fertile field to sow and harvest what you desire. Looking back means not being able to let go of doubt, fear, excuses and the undesirable past. If you are able to control what you hold true within you and rise to the level of that feeling, then you transform to the level of your desire. From there, you act as if you already are. You have already created a new reality. Remember, you have been told countless times that for God there are no impossibilities; you must not only understand it but believe it and live it. It is important to clarify something very interesting: the most powerful Law of all creation is: as above so below, as within so without. This reveals that everything you call creation has its origin within your consciousness, therefore, everything you will experience as real in the world of the five senses comes from within.
Then, that action that you should carry out and that coincides with your desire, you can perform it internally without moving a single muscle, moving out of this reality towards the already fulfilled desire. You only need an action that corresponds to what you desire, as if your desire has already come true. This is the only way in which God can act, and it is the only way by which, through his son Jesus Christ, what is desired can be manifested.
So, you have energy to conceive and attract a desire to you. Then, that desire is delivered to you concretely and specifically in your imaginary act. Sitting wherever you are, assume that this desire is already a reality and that you don't need to do anything to materialize it. Then, in your imagination, act as if you were in a movie scene, in something that makes you see that your desire is already a fact. If you need or want a particular item, what would be an action that would make you feel you already have it? It could be a congratulations from someone close to you, a comment of joy or even some misgivings from someone around you. Whatever it is, live that action in your mind and see what happens if you really experience it as an assumption. Undoubtedly, in that instant you felt very good, -it was too good to be true-, some say. Well, if you manage to desire, imagine, feel and give thanks in silence, then you have already believed. I assure you that from that moment something within you has moved, something has shaken, and from now on you will move in this reality in a different way than before; something in you has changed. Persist in that assumption and you will realize why the prophet knew the power of surrendering to the greatest gift God has for mankind. Every desire of your heart is a gift that was granted in your imagination thanks to God.
This act reveals the secret of creation; with your power to imagine, only with that power can you approach God. By imagining and feeling something that you desire in an authentic and concrete way, you can access God; there is no other possible way. That is asking on behalf of the greatest gift given by God to man, the gift of conceiving through imaginative acts that transcend this dimension of time and space. Only one condition is asked of you: to believe. It is not to believe in a man of flesh and blood who did certain things and now tells you to ask in his name and do more than he did; or to believe in requirements imposed by those who do not know him at this time, that was never the intention of the prophet. To believe is, in addition to understanding, to consciously and concretely assume the state that aligns with your desire and to be faithful to that state at all costs. Care for it and nurture it as a mother-to-be cares for her womb, without doubt or fear, no matter what external reality says, no matter how difficult everything has been so far. Do not look back or try to assume the ways or means by which your desire will be realized; you have already assumed it, then it is already a reality, and it does not need your assumptions, it only needs your assumption.
Dear reader, re-read the biblical quote at the beginning, then read this:
You have within you the power or energy to imagine and feel; do you desire to create or transform something? For God, to desire is to decree what already exists as if it were already created. If you desire something, be specific. Imagine and feel (assume, conceive) as if it is already real, as if it already exists. Your felt imagination is the child of God, given to you with the mandate that you believe in him alone. Surrender yourself to him in spite of what the world says, what you imagine and feel is your decree made in union with God through his Son. Now that you imagine and feel, you are asking in his name, and only through him, through your imaginary felt act, can you ask and access God. You can ask for anything; ask in abundance for the evolution of all that brings peace, harmony, understanding and grace into your life and environment.
Stop depending on the god of tradition or custom and start living in the God of life through experience, the one who truly guides your path and the truth of what you experience. Surrender to whatever you wish to believe, even if it seems impossible to your five senses. Assume as if you were God, that you are, decree all the good that you desire and act accordingly. Adopt now the attitude you would have if the creation around you were perfect as you wish it to be, and you will see the wonders of the Lord.
